Price Radar
Privacy Policy
What Price Radar stores on your device and what its service processes.
Last updated: 2026-10-21
Data we do not access
- Price Radar does not access your Apple ID credentials, card or bank details, or purchases from other apps.
- We never ask for App Store passwords, gift card codes, payment credentials or account-region switching details.
- We do not use your information to offer proxy purchases, top-ups or ways around store policies.
Data stored on your device
- Your saved plans, target-price alerts and manually entered subscription ledger stay on your device. Enabling server-side subscription verification does not upload your personal ledger.
- This information supports your saved plans, alert preferences and subscription budget calculations.
- Any future account or cross-device sync feature would require separate disclosure and consent.
Server processing
- Price searches and refreshes request publicly available App Store data through our API. The server provides public prices, app and plan information and verification timestamps.
- When price-access registration or enforcement is enabled, our server checks Apple-signed transactions for this app and stores necessary transaction identifiers, which first plan used the free experience, subscription expiry and last verification time. It does not access your Apple ID login or card information.
- Server diagnostic logs may include ordinary request information needed for reliability, abuse detection and security.
Usage analytics
- Unless disabled in Settings, the app sends function-use events to understand price comparisons, search quality, saved plans and subscriptions.
- These events include a device-generated installation ID, session identifier, app version and action/result categories, but not your search text, ledger amounts or notes, Apple ID, payment card or advertising identifier.
- Usage-event records older than 90 days are periodically deleted.
- We do not sell or share these events with advertisers or use them for cross-app or cross-site tracking. Settings lets you disable usage analytics or reset the installation identifier. This does not delete Apple transaction details required to verify subscriptions.
